As many as 40 million adults suffer from anxiety disorders in the United States -- and now there's a smartphone program to help ease their experience.

Koko is a new app that allows anonymous users to share their own challenges with stress or anxiety and receive positive responses from a broader online support group. While it isn't a replacement for treatment, the app melds tech and the power of crowdsourcing in hopes of promoting "resilience and emotional well being" for its users. Learn how it works above.
