Case in point: Watch a real dog take on Boston Dynamics' much bigger robot dog, "Spot," in a parking lot.
The barking terrier, who reportedly belongs to Android co-founder Andy Rubin, isn't giving an inch -- reinforcing the Mark Twain-credited quote that "it isn't the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
Twain probably wasn't envisioning a canine-on-contraption battle for global supremacy, but it's good to know that if it ever came down to humans vs. Terminator-like beasts, at least one of man's best friends has our back.
The U.S. military recently opted not to use Spot for reconnaissance, so the droid will have more time to terrorize lil' doggies.
But this four-legged impostor definitely messed with the wrong one.
